I Am A Black Woman

I am bold beautiful and charming,
Witty, sexy and sassy, not to mention classy
I am a Black Woman
I am resourceful, strong and independent
To one man and one man only, I am heaven sent
I am a Black Woman
To know me is to love and respect me,
For I am a queen, working and striving to be all that I can be
I am a Black Woman
I am not your bitch, boo or hoe, don’t make the
mistake of calling me out of my name, cause I will let you know
I am a Black Woman
Head going from side to side, true emotions, I cannot hide
In everything I do, I take great pride
I am a Black Woman
Honor and respect me, for we are the future and that is reality
I am a Black Woman
Don’t abuse me with your filthy mouth or strong fists, though you
may not agree with me, just resist
I am a Black Woman
In me lies the next generation you see; and so with determination
you should love and protect me
I am a Black Woman
If you are a real man you will appreciate, support and understand
not jealous of my success, but comforting and helping to relieve the
stress of being a Black Woman
